Lester Schrenk of 327th Sq, 92BG, 8AF, B-17 Ball Turret Gunner on Pot'O-Gold #42-31377 was shot down over Denmark 22 February 1944. He was captured soon after parachuting into a field and taken to the local German HQ for initial questioning - thus started a15 month fight for survival.
